Teachers and Parents
 
 Each class is led by either Renee or Melissa, experienced elementary school teachers and mothers of young children. Our role is to plan age appropriate activities and facilitate fun circles that encourage participation. Our combined 17 years of teaching experience and masters degrees in education help us in planning engaging classes each time you and your toddler come to My Play Place. We will hold an orientation for all parents and communicate with you throughout the session in order to help create a strong and supportive community of parents.
 
 
 
Teachers  A parent or caregiver’s primary role at My Play Place is to provide the comfort and familiarity that will allow your child to try new things and become more independent. In addition to being there for your own child you will also be asked to bring snack and clean up various times throughout the session. The number of times that each parent will help depends upon enrollment. Finally, your role is to enjoy yourself. You will likely find parents in very similar situations to your own with whom you can share ideas and a few laughs. The opportunities for outside connections are limitless.
